It may be obvious, but I’ve spent an hour searching, watching the videos etc.
I need to set up a page for members of a homeowners association, to where the site manager can upload documents (agendas, budgets, minutes etc) without having to do so in Elements
I would like the documents to appear in a list format and for members to be able to view and download them
It is an ideal use for the new password management feature, to control access to the page
I have two, creating a third, HOA websites. The two standing websites were created in Rapidweaver and a couple years ago i add Repository 2.0 and Blankstrip 5.0 to accomplish just what you are after. No long does my HOA president need to email me file additions now he goes to the website and uploads them then send me a note with his specific instruction on loading them into the site. I use Sitelok to password protect and it allows me to create individual passwords so i can now delete individuals logins vs. having to change a single password when someone leaves the board.
I am currently building my 3rd HOA website, trying to use Elements, and the capabilities you mention, I also need, may drive me to create this new site in Rapid Weaver…. Just starting this work so not ready to give up at this point as this will eventually be the only game in town.
This might not be what you want or at least you can modify links to your files, Elements has loads of files in a repository in. GitHub so I have done a basic HTML Com potent for you to see those files. If you have a link in your repository you can change the HTML Code to view your repository and see if that works for you?
