Files names in Image Stack

Hi folks

Still a complete newbie where RW is concerned, so I apologise ahead of asking what might seem to some like a question with a really obvious answer. Anyway, I’ve clicked on an image on one of my pages and up comes the control panel of the standard image stack. Then the first heading on the panel is publishing, under which the first field is “File name”. In this field am I required to type in the file name I used when I originally created and optimised the image in Photoshop or am I able to use a completely different name?

Then any name you want. don’t forget to include alt text.
