I’m not sure, but is it possible that the border in Filter is drawn in blue once it’s active? The cross is also blue.
I’ve gone through all the settings several times and haven’t been able to find where to adjust this?
Hmmm, you’re right. It doesn’t appear you can do this right now. I’ll get @ben to take a look when he’s back next week

You can change this by using the Outline controls on the Filter component.
The reason you’re seeing a blue outline is due to the CSS defaults Elements sets on form inputs — there is a blue outline by default, for accessibility reasons.
If you want to change the styling you can use the Outline controls 
@ben 1px is a little bit thick and the x is always in blue.
