Here’s the first of 8 company websites I’m building for my employer. Just turned it up this morning. It’s got a couple cool custom components running in it and I’m pretty happy with the overall look at feel of it. I do wish I had some real images to make it feel a bit more personal, but everyone around here is camera shy..lol

@differentdan I will be getting with you in the next couple of months. Right now all these sites are on Dreamhost, and I would like to get them moved over to Elements Hosting.

Nice. Other than my usual complaint about too much padding/spacing*, you’ve done a really nice job here. Putting telephone numbers right up top was a good decision, and that attention applies to other elements, as well. I’d move the availability form under the headline; you’re repeating speeds and other stuff and pushing that critical bit down the page.

*I’m a stickler for trying to use site density to imply depth of information. Too much padding (20+) often puts entire sections into invisibility, meaning that the site visitor never doom scrolls to it. You’ve tightened the usual landing page design more than most do, but I’d still take tiny bits out here and there so that it’s clearer that there is much more to be found on each page.

I appreciate the feeback.

I like to give my elements room to breath on the page. Everything cramped together gives off a early 2000’s vibe, but that is all personal preference. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Absolutely, spacing is a design preference. However, I’d still suggest you tighten the padding/spacing by 1 or 2 from where it is.

I’ll point out that a lot of folk are now using the same Components and default spacings. This makes sites look the same. I’d argue that you don’t want that (at least most of the time). Small things that make a site look different make it stand out.

The website looks great and we can’t wait to be hosting it for you too

very well done @ajenks :+1:

I recognised something with the navigation bar

The drop down menu is from my point of view a bit too bright (white) on the white navigation and I would increase the padding left and right to give it more breathe.

But that’s maybe also a matter of personal preference.

That’s a good call. I’ve implemented those changes.

Thanks Dan, yes, looking forward to it.
