I have completed the second update in October of the fleXon library. It now includes a new Segment for Buttons and 4 new sections, bringing the total number of segments to 105.
The Button Segment is really something I would like to do from the beginning. You have now more than 70 pre-designed Buttons available for your projects. I’m a bit proud on the Fancy Buttons. Here Elements shows its capabilities. All effects are done with Elements out of the box.
There will be more soon! You can have a direct look at the Buttons Segment here.

If you’ve already purchased fleXon, you can update it by following the instructions here.
If you’re interested in purchasing fleXon, it’s still available at its introductory price of $49,99. You can buy it here: WeaverPixel. The price will increase soon, so don’t wait too long.
I hope you like the update!
I’m just starting work on version 1.4. If you’d like to see something specific, let me know in the comments below or send me a private message.
@WeaverPixel The new update is really great! Outstanding! For everyone who wants to quickly build a website with just a few clicks and drag-and-drop in Elements, the fleXon Library is the perfect choice.
I’m excited to see what other updates will follow…
@WeaverPixel Good morning. How do I apply this update to a project that I am already working on? In other words, I show 1.1.1 and would like to update to 1.3.0. Thanks!
Hi @RobertTrebor
There is no linkage from fleXon to the segments you are using in your project. When you copy a section to your project it is fully under your control. You can change it to your liking and needs.
So you simply download the latest version and from then on you can use the features of the new version of the design library.
There is nothing available like when you update fleXon it is also updating something in your projects if you thought that way. That is a feature neither Elements nor fleXon has included.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear earlier. I’m just trying to confirm something. When I applied the update to a new project, it correctly shows version 1.3. However, when I open an older project I was working on before the update, it still shows version 1.1.
Does this mean that I can’t update the old websites I was working on to 1.3? Do I need to rebuild them from scratch, or is there a way to update those as well?
That is unfortunately correct. I delivered version 1.0 and 1.1 of fleXon as project file and as component. But delivering as a component infringes Realmacs API rules, which are meant at the moment for development only. So I removed the component in 1.2 and 1.3 and deliver currently only the project file. So you need to copy the sections from the fleXon project file to your project file(s).
I hope that with the new Marketplace coming soon I will be able to deliver it again as project file and as component.
It’s not about rules, it’s more about performance, and the intended use of them. Here’s a snippet from the API Docs:
An Element Dev Pack (.devpack) is designed strictly for local development. These are uncompiled and unencrypted versions of your components that allow for live editing and testing during development.
Every file inside a Dev Pack is actively monitored by Elements and the system, which enables real-time updates as you work in third-party editors, a huge benefit while building components.
However, this live monitoring comes at a cost. If too many Dev Packs accumulate over time, Elements (and macOS) can run out of file handles, leading to components failing to load or update. To avoid performance issues and ensure system stability, Dev Packs must never be shared or sold.
That said, Dev Packs are fine for internal use. If you’re collaborating with a small team, doing client work, or running a closed beta, it’s okay to share Dev Packs privately for testing and feedback. Just be mindful that these packs aren’t encrypted or optimised, and should never be used as a final delivery format.
The good news is we’ve been working non-stop on the Elements Store and the Tools to enable developers to upload addons to be encrypted and distributed. It’s coming together really well. We hope be able to demo it in the coming weeks, with a launch soon after!
UPDATE: After some troubleshooting / comparison, I believe that Isolation should be set to “Isolate” on the parent container “Hero-004”. This seems to resolve the issue
I’m afraid I don’t know some general case things, though. I hate to keep asking baby-step questions.
For instance, in the download there was an Elements project with the new templates available.
How do I add those templates to an existing project?
Off-topic, webhooks are really slick. I set up a free Webhooks for Sheets in Google, changed my contact form to a webhook, added the Google url - and presto! From the first form submission, no debugging needed, the Google Sheet is getting updated.
Anyway, I’d like to add those fleXon templates to an existing project but I don’t know how to start.
There’s all these woods. I’m starting to understand why my wife calls me “babe.”
Don’t worry to ask beginner questions. We all here started once at zero
For existing projects I recommend to copy and paste from the fleXon project file over to your project file. For new projects you can either use the fleXon project file as a starting point or you start with a clean file and also here you copy and paste from the fleXon project file.
For copy and paste go to fleXon, mark a complete section with “Command + C”. Then go to your project, make sure you click in the Editor and paste the section with “Command + V”.
Pleas have also a look in the manual which comes with your download.
