I’m wondering about how Elements-created website will be able to replace a WordPress-based website from a trafic analytics point of view? WordPress can can use SEO tools and user tracking analytics to measure traction… how does this translate into a website that would be ported using Elements?
Hey @numericcitizen,
You could certainly build a very SEO compliant website in Elements, but to measure it and track traffic, you’d need to use third-party analytics…
I’d recommend something like https://usefathom.com or https://plausible.io/.
BTW. Just to make you aware, Elements 1.0 won’t ship with a blogging engine - we definitely want to add local CMS functionality, it’s high on our list after we get the first release out!
ARRRgggghhhhhhhhhhh Finally
Thanks. I’m not too worried regarding the CMS / blogging part… but I was regarding the feasability of moving a website currently hosted on WordPress with a bunch of plugins (more or less useful) into a static website… scrolling banners, forms among other things are involved… but I do understand, judging from your videos on YouTube, that moving parts on the web are very easy to implement.
