Hello forum members and many thanks to the creators of Elements, you clever chaps have made it really easy for non-devs like me.
I’ve crafted my business website (www.home-sapiens.com) using Massimo’s (RWPro) excellent Play template, spending a considerable amount of time setting up colours for the various modules in dark mode which is the only one I want.
I only realised after publishing that if a user’s device is set to light mode, the site switches automatically to light which looks horrible as I haven’t worked at it.
Is there a way to force dark mode, in other words, is there a way of achieving the opposite of what the GUI toggle to ignore dark mode does? Or do I have to do all the work again setting up light mode with the colours as dark mode?
Not as far as I know, sorry. You’ll need to go through and apply the dark styling to light mode (if you want it to always be dark)
However, I took a quick look at your site and I don’t think it’d take long to get it looking good in Light Mode. I could probably do it in ~5 minutes if you post the project here via Elements Cloud
Thank you for the kind offer Dan, it doesn’t seem fair to take any of your time for such trivial issue, I just need to sit down with a little patience.
Maybe a toggle button for Light version too in a future version of Elements (if at all possible) would help others.
Now, I need to work out why none of the contact forms are working.
