Is it possible to force the site to load for everyone in dark mode only?
The colours and layout I have work in Dark Mode nicely and I really don’t want a “light” mode. Also, I’m on the “Plus” tier, so I can’t edit or create my own theme.
Hi, I’ve read that thread, but I’m not sure it solves the problem.
I’m trying to use the “Terminal” theme with the “Voyager” project. Dark mode looks just fine. I just want that as the default for my project. Switching off dark mode entirely denies me the colour scheme I actually want.
I can’t customise the theme as I’m not on the “Pro” tier.
Trying to customise the light side of the theme to make it look dark doesn’t give the results I want - in fact, it seems completely unresponsive. For example, when I flip to the light mode, my top site navigation menu disappears. I know it’s probably set to black on a black background (where it was previously white in the dark theme), but when I look at the menu component, it says it’s white and doesn’t seem to respond to any changes I make. (There is nothing in the Global Header that’s overriding this).
My site only has five pages - and this feels like an extremely painful transition from Classic.
After playing an awful lot with themes, I’ve come to the realisation that it’s the Terminal Theme itself. Even if I define colours for page components, the fact I’ve selected the Terminal Theme seems to override everything (i.e. not respect component changes I’ve made).
When I use System instead (or any other theme, it seems), I can configure individual components and they appear as I want. It seems something specific to the Terminal Theme that’s doing this.
