Im having trouble inserting fields in the form container. Whenever I drag an element or layout into the forms container it replaces the forms container - I’m assuming that the fields need to be inside the container…

great thanks! That solved that problem. Bu then I put in a submit component and a button in it and it doesn’t do anything when I click it. no success, no error
The form won’t work in Preview, you’ll need to publish it online first…
You’ll also need to ensure the form setup details are correct, take a look at the checklist in the manual for further help.
Thanks - this was the issue - php on my server - Chillidog - which I chose because it was recommended here is only 7.4. What are my options?
You can upgrade PHP on your Chillidog server via the CPanel — @barchard or @LaPan will be able to help you with that!
Yes as @dan mentioned, if you log into your cpanel you can switch each of your sites to different PHP versions. This lets you choose the appropriate PHP version for your site or set up a test site with a different version for testing.
