Curious to hear about the experience of anyone who have re-created or converted a Foundry site (I love this framework) in Elements?
Did you find any Foundry stacks didn’t have an equivalent or any major gaps currently?

Hi @ham-uk
you will find lots of former Foundry 3 users here in the forum. I myself was big fan of this framework!
I just reworked my website WeaverPixel from Foundry 3 to Elements. You can read some experiences here in the forum.
I personally do not miss much from Foundry 3 here in Elements. But you also have to see that Elements has some (big) advantages over Foundry 3. The Container, Grid, Flex system is awesome when you get a full understanding of them. Takes a while (for me
) but then it’s unbeatable. Some other missing features will be closed from Realmac over time.
What I liked most about Elements at the beginning was that I had my editor window in the middle and could adjust my settings on the right with some mouse clicks. No Swatches or Classes to be set somewhere and then not doing what I expected.
Hello Ham-UK,
I’m still a Foundry 2 & 3 user. I agree that Foundry 3 was a very simple, easy-to-manage framework. I’m so comfortable with it that Elements looks very complicated and difficult in comparison. Understanding and controlling the sizing and responsive layout takes time, and the missing stacks are not my main concern. Building and controlling the sizes is more problematic for me.
