It seems that there are problems with the sharpness of the images in the Gallery Pro (paid) version. The Gallery standard vers in elements provides better image sharpness. Any idea?

Is this related to the thumbnails, or the larger images shown in the lightbox?
If it’s the thumbnails, you can tweak those independently at each breakpoint, so you should be able to dial in the sharpness there.
If you’re not sure, feel free to share a screenshot or a link to the page and I’ll happily take a closer look 
Yes it is about the main images in lightbox, not the thumbnails. See the difference in the attached images. The standard version gives more correct sharpness than the pro version.

Thanks for y quick update. The images have become a little sharper, but not quite up to……compared to standar gallery version…

What do you have the Image Size setting set to?
If you choose “Original” it will serve the un-modified original file added to Elements.

Do you have image protection on? If you do it doesn’t work. I can download photos from your site to my ipad. @alexander28

I am just curious. Are you using a theme for elements from multi themes?
Yes, that´s right. “Ascent elements” from Multithemes

Yes, started from scratch in Elements. The theme from Multithemes is great and also easy to work with.
