The Gallery Component page in the manual has now been updated with lots of new information, as well as a video explaining all the features.
Please let us know if anything is missing.
I’ve also recorded a quick tutorial on using the Grid Component to layout photos for a custom Gallery.
Hope you find both useful.

Thank you for the videos on image galleries. They are helpful.
On a couple of sites I have history image galleries that show many people and places. Site visitors want to know information about the images. Could you talk about adding captions and if it’s possible for Elements to pull caption text from the image meta data?
An example using a very old Galerie program. Clicking on a thumbnail brings up the image with caption information. How do I do this in Elements?

The Gallery only supports caption and author on the thumbnail view.
You could build it yourself using the modal component, that way you can do whatever you want. Although it’s a little more complex to setup…
And here’s the sample project Open in Elements

Thanks. Photos are an important part of a couple of sites. I’ll see what I can do.
