Resurfacing this since it wasn’t solved in the last update:
OUTSTANDING ISSUE: Click local video in gallery, lightbox opens. Click play on video 1. Video 1 begins playing. Use nav arrow to advance to next video (Video 2). Video 1 sound (and video) continues playing. Click Video 2. Video 2 begins playing — as Video 1 still continues to play. Toggle back and forth with l/r nav arrows and both videos are playing at the same time.
Confirmed loading in a new gallery component, and in both Chrome and Safari. As always, let me know if I can help supply more details or screen caps.
Thanks for flagging this again, and sorry it slipped through last time! You were right, our earlier fix wasn’t pausing the video when you moved to the next or previous slide.
We’ve tracked it down and fixed it properly. Videos now pause when you use the arrows, swipe, close the lightbox, click outside it or press Escape.
It’ll be in the next Elements update. Once it’s out, update and republish any pages with a Gallery, then do a hard refresh in your browser.
Let me know if you still see two videos playing at once after that
