Gallery Pro does not install

I can’t install Gallery Pro. When I click “Install,” the counter goes up to 100%, then abruptly stops and displays “Install” again. I have Elements 2.1.2 and an Elements Pro license. I only have one version in my app folder. I’ve logged out, closed, and restarted Elements several times without success. I’ve deleted Elements, redownloaded it, and moved it back into the app folder. All without success. This isn’t the first time I’ve run into these kinds of problems. It usually occurs after a component update. It then fails to install (same story as in the video). And if I uninstall the component, it won’t reinstall either. Can a solution be provided urgently, as I am left with a very expensive component that I cannot use?

Sorry to hear you’re having issues, I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of this.

Can you try logging out of Elements Cloud, then back into it and see if that helps?

Hi Dan,

Thanks for coming back to me.

Yes, I did that (see my comments before) and tried it again. Log out, shut down Elements, start Elements and log in. The counter goes to 100% and jumps to the previous position again to show install.

Yes @dan ,

I can confirm this issue also, I have the same problem downloading the Microblog project.

We’re looking into this today, @tpbradley will let you know if he needs anymore details on this!

I want to add something extra to this thread that might have to do with the previous issue.

Today I noticed something else. Apparently, my installation list contains a strange component, “com.elementsplatform.fitness.” However, a bit further down the list, there’s a component called “Fitness.”

When I remove the “Fitness” component, the strange component “com.elementsplatform.fitness” also disappears.

When I reinstall the Fitness component, the strange component “com.elementsplatform.fitness.” reappears in the list.

@dan Has anything been found to address this problem yet?

Hello, I understand that you all are very busy, but it has already been a few weeks since a promise was made to resolve, or at least investigate, the issue with not being able to install “Gallery Pro”. You will understand that it is very frustrating as a user when you cannot use a purchased Element.

When I look at the purchase price of my Elements Pro subscription and all the other elements I have purchased, that amount quickly exceeds 1,000 euros. I assume that for such an amount, I should expect some support?

Once again, I have every understanding of your heavy workload, but may there also be some understanding for my problem?

Regards,

Freddy

I’m so sorry about this, we did fix an issue with the store… Fitness should now be working, and I assumed this also fixed Gallery for you.

Can you try uninstalling Gallery Pro (if it says it’s installed in your Library), then log out of Elements Cloud, restart your Mac, and log back into Elements Cloud and try to re-download Gallery Pro. Let me know how you get on.

We really appreciate your support, it means the word to us and we will get this resolved for you. It’s now our top priority!

@CyberFredje Really sorry about this! Can you follow the instructions Dan gave you and if this still doesn’t resolve the issue, upload the log files via Help → Upload to Support.

@weaver Are you still having the same problem with Microblog too? If so, could you also follow Dan’s instructions and upload to support if you still see the problem.

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry, I haven’t been able to reply yet because I was abroad.

I have once again followed all instructions as Dan requested, but unfortunately still without success.

I will now upload the log files via the help menu.

Regards,

Freddy

Thanks @CyberFredje, those logs are very helpful indeed!

I’m working on a fix for this now.

Cheers
