@Godber – I am not trying to dissuade you from using the Transition stack you’ve bought, but instead trying to assist you. As I mentioned above If you can assist me by sending me a ZIP file with the requested items I will gladly take a look.
Also, as I mentioned you can try using the Gallery stack that you own that comes as a part of Foundry as well, whether as a test for compatibility or instead of the one you’re currently using.
Again though, if you send me the requested items I will take a look.
maybe but I put the stack on but it didnt have any content…and its weird how it covers some Lightbox controls but not others…not really using the transition stack was just experimenting with the thunder stacks…that was all
Having been part of the PHP help/ setup/ package team for OS X in the early days before it was formally supported by Apple (the old Entropy.ch that was run by Marc), I understand your frustration. I will say however, that yes, you were snippy, I had the same issue (permissions) and also posted about it and was fortunate that you did not reply to it. I did a fair amount of searching and did not see it initially as a general issue as I was likely searching for to specific a reference. Please do not assume that just because someone does not find the right answer they did not search for it, they may (as did I) searched too narrowly as the issue only popped up for me in the last update and I had no other apps throwing a permissions error. Marc Liyanage is now an employee at Apple, I now work in the Neuropsych field and am doing medical school.
@Godber given it was a response to a previous comment by Paul, losing you is not a tragedy, but if you wanted to come away with something it is generally: Please do not assume laziness or incompetence because someone asks a question. - Again it was not directed at you so I can see why you did not grok it.
It’s from one of my very favorite books. “Stranger in a Strange Land” – Heinlein may be a bit out of date now, but for me as a kid it was blow your mind kind of reading. You should read it too.
I love Heinlein. Some of the first science fiction my father ever gave me as a kid was “Have Spacesuit will Travel”, “Straship Troopers”, “The Rolling Stones” and “Rocket Ship Galileo”. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.
As for this thread overall – help has been extended to @Godber by myself and others. I’ve yet to be taken up on my offer of assistance and it seems the conversation is devolving. If the help is no longer needed, or wanted, it seems this thread’s life has come to and end.
Side note – wonder if there’s a site out there with a dictionary of made up sci-fi words like grok? Gorram, frak, shiny, kipple, TANSTAAFL, Shazbot, schway, etc, etc…
