Help! After creating a new photo gallery page built with inStacks’ Gallery Stack (example page), I now have a problem that I cannot seem to resolve. The page loads as it should and presents a gallery of thumbnails. However, when clicking on a thumbnail, the larger image does not load, and the following message appears: “The image cannot be loaded.”
My workflow to create the new gallery page is to simply copy an existing gallery page and then swap out the pics. No changes were made to any stack or RW settings other than the metadata. Another weird thing is that the other gallery pages which utilize the Gallery stack are now broken, too, i.e., larger pics won’t load.
InStacks did some investigating and found that the Stacks Plugin is generating an incorrect address:
Wrong Address: /page-5/march_2025/index_files/stacks-image-d519b59-1200x900@2x.jpg
Correct Address:
/page-5/march_2025/files/stacks-image-d519b59-1200x900@2x.jpg
As you can see, it’s adding “index_” to the URL.
Is it possible to force RW to generate new URLs for the images by clearing a cache or something?
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated—If you cannot tell, I am very much an amatuer. Many thanks!
