Hello,

Before i purchase just would to ask some questions :

  1. Is rapid weaver and all the 50 plus Theme included still gdpr compliant ?
  2. rapidweaver8 is a one time purchase then, now rw9 is subscription base. If i have already published my rw site and did not renew my rw classic subscription, will my site be affected? Will it still work on line ?

The themes should still remain GDPR-compatible. That hasn’t changed. Of course, it also depends on whether you host your fonts yourself or fetch them directly from, for example, Google.

After your RapidWeaver Classic “subscription” ends, you still have full access to the software and can continue using it without any restrictions. You just will not receive any new updates anymore once the subscription expires.

To close with @dan 's words … if you are considering switching from RapidWeaver 8 to RapidWeaver Classic, take a look at elements first. That will be the future …

But if the rw site is already published and the Rapidweaver Classic subscription ends, the site will not be affected at all ?

If elements will be the future, is realmac software planning to discontinue the Classic ?

As I wrote, you can continue to use the service without any restrictions after your classic subscription expires. This also applies to pages that have already been published. You can then also continue to publish your website.
