How do I get rid of extra space in grid? and (placeholder) The robot suggested an empty container for a placeholder
Take a look at the picture - How do I remove the white space below the placeholder container and the social flex bar
Check the padding and / or margins for that component.

yes tried that - didn’t work….
Only other idea I have is to check the sizing of the container or the flex items…
Thank you - ended up inserting a second grid and using flex as placeholders - controlling maximum height- it works
