Global text element issue

Issue with Global text element:

1. Insert it into a page.
2. Do not activate Global Override.
3. Edit the default text by deleting it.
4. Any other use of the Global Text element does not have the default text,

If I exit the Global text element and try to double-click inside the element, it is not possible to do so.

Add another instance of the Global text element (which now has no default text); it is not possible to do so.

If the text is deleted, it is not possible to undelete the deletion.

The only option is to create a new Global text element. Any previously created elements with the Global text element are no longer linked to the new one.

Even after unlinking the text element from Global, it is still not possible to enter text.

Is this correct or am I overlooking something?

@dan Is it possible to fix the following bug in the Text Component? When I remove a word or all text from the Text Component, then leave the component (for example to change some styling), and later try to add new text to that same Text Component, it doesn’t work—the component won’t let me enter any new text. The only workaround is to delete the entire Text Component and add a new one. This is a really frustrating bug, especially when creating “tables,” since there are often empty cells that…
