In my updated Beta (.4) no fonts are displayed in general in the Theme Settings. I realized that as I wanted to add a Google Font to my project … Have a look.
I think the Google Font service may be down
We’re looking into it…
That would be funny
Whew! I’m happy you’re investigating Dan. All of my Google Fonts just disappeared too!
Same for me. This happens every once in a while. It’s not a new issue. I’m still using 1.6.3
@dan Do you recommend to download them from Google and put them in Recourses?
After much digging, it appears we’ve hit our daily limit on our Google Fonts API calls (this is what we use to list all the Google Fonts in the Theme Studio) ![]()
I guess this is good problem to have as it means Elements is getting more popular. We’ve now applied for increased the daily quote on Font API calls calls from Google.
This does not affect sites that are already published, but if the fonts don’t appear locally do not re-publish your site until the fonts are back online in the Elements Preview.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear back from Google ![]()
Do you recommend to download them from Google and put them in Recourses? @dan
We have now resolved the issue, along with shipping beta 5 of Elements 2.0!
That also means, Google Fonts should be back to working normally for everyone now ![]()
