Last year I created the grid in a spreadsheet, then did a screenshot and posted it at my website as a graphic. But I wanted to just create the grid on my website so all I have to do is change the numbers and team logos every week.
I created a 6 x 6 grid, and I added all of the photos, no problem. But I can’t get the numbers/logo squares to work. It seems like all I need to do is put a 1 x 3 grid within the square and then just drag some Image elements in, and finally drag the numbers (the numbers are graphics) and logos in. But every time I try to do this, the graphics take up the entire square and I can’t get all three items in there like the example above. Can someone set me on the right track?
Consider using a flex instead of a grid. Set it to column mode and then drag in your three elements. Then use the flex alignment and justification options to position the elements within the flex.
I don’t want to be a web developer, that’s why I use Elements. I don’t want to have to do a bunch of stuff in CMS. I’m like kindergarten level with this stuff, I just want to play with my blocks and make something that looks good.
I’m really trying not to be a helpless idiot, but I have followed the steps in the video three times attempting to upload the project and it still says “no uploaded documents.” I opened the project, clicked on the cloud, and clicked “upload project.” all three times it appeared to be uploading the project, it showed the size and had a progress bar and eventually said it was done.
I’m getting closer. I changed the graphic numbers to regular text numbers. I made the graphic in the center Aspect Ratio = wide and Object Fit = contain. I still can’t get it to be 1/3-1/3-1/3 on the box. It’s a 1 x 3 grid.
That doesn’t seem to be what I am trying to do, all of the squares are graphics. I can already do that.
I want all of the photos to stay the same all year, I want the outer squares to be easily changeable each week with different team logos and different randomly drawn numbers. Using that, I would need to create ten graphics each week to populate the outer squares. If each of the outer squares was a 1 x 3 grid with changeable numbers and graphics, that would be great, that’s what I am trying to get to.
I made a 1 x 3 grid using text numbers at the top and bottom. I don’t know what to do with the graphic in the middle to make is smaller. If the grid was 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 I think I’d be good.
Okay, now I understand what you want (I hope). I have gone through and switched the graphics to a flexbox layout, this allows you to change the text to numbers
