Is it currently possible to reorder grid items in a layout?
For example, I have a simple two-column grid: the first item contains a header and some text, and the second item contains an image.
On mobile, I’d like the image to appear first—above the header and text—instead of second. Is there a way to do this?

As Steve showed in his video, you can absolutely do this. I’ve recorded a quick video to explain how to achieve this, have a watch and let me know if you need any more help! 
Advanced grid provides so many options to control layout of grid almost limitless

Elevating on this. I´m trying to do custom ordering. What am I doing wrong? I want it to be overwritten at medium breakpoint. On medium I want the second picture to be to the right. I have set all container/griditems to a order value but they don´t change order.

Yes. How did you set up the ordering?
when using grid I only use advanced grid its a bit more, would need a video , I mixed advanced into your project, it will need a video to show
if you set up grids in the grid it is possibly easier to manager order

That is a lot of grids. I would prefer the custom ordering to work.

I never use auto grids if possible so may be possible, prefer knowing where the grids are aligned takes a bit more work
