When I add a file, such as a PDF, to my Resources folder, RapidWeaver automatically creates a URL for it with the prefix http://. That’s a problem because my site prefix is https://, and web browsers block content that doesn’t appear to be SSL certified (i.e., doesn’t have the prefix https://). Anybody know how to fix this?
Add the s manually - https://thailandgo.eu/resources/maps-pdf/Thailand-Ko-Tao-Ko-Nang-Yuan-map.pdf
Thanks for your reply, Per. I thought of adding the “s” manually, but I couldn’t find a way to do that. In RapidWeaver, the names of files in the Resources folder don’t show the http:// prefix. The same is true even after I export the site, and even after I upload it to the web. When I look inside the Resources folder, the file names don’t have prefixes. So how can I go about adding the “s”?
Yes, it is.
Well, that is very strange, as that’s where the Macro gets your website URL from. Can you try re-entering it under the General settings and see if that helps?
Can you also check the Website Address in your Publishing destination because RapidWeaver also uses this:
Okay, I’ve done that. I’m busy today, but I’ll let you know in a day or two if it solved the problem.
Fyi, I don’t use RapidWeaver’s built-in publishing tool. I use Filezilla instead because it gives me more detailed control over the publishing process.
