How do I add alt tags to images in Classic?

I see places in older versions of Rapidweaver where it says alt tag for images, but in Classic all I see are title and notes in the image inspector. I’m trying to make my website ADA compliant, but I am not seeing where to add the tags on each image? There must be an easy way to do this, but it is escaping me. TIA!

Well that was easy! Anything special to add to the text, or is a simple description sufficient? Thanks for the quick response!

As you noticed in my example, I put the word “edge” in the alt-tag box of the old RW. This forces the graphic to stretch to the right border.

To the larger Elements community… is there a way in Elements that I can do something similar? Is there a place I can add the word “edge”? In Elements, how do I force a graphic to stretch to the edge?

Use the cover setting in the images settings.

The challenge is that the image is called as a resource from a Markdown file. Here is how it displays. It would be nice to stretch it to the right. CleanShot 2026-02-24 at 14.48.51 · CleanShot Cloud

Any help is appreciated. Thanks, guys. As a novice, I appreciate your wisdom on this stuff.

Where do I find this “cover setting”? I didn’t see it when I double clicked the image and the pop up opened with the alt tag field.

I think @Fuellemann was referring to Elements, not RW classic. Just put the word “edge” in the alt-tag field after you double-click the image. That will force the image to the closest right side border.

thanks, Sounds easy enough.
