How to add TXT record for subdomain

Hi,

I need to add a TXT record for SUBDOMAIN to verify it with Google Search Console. Could you please guide me on where to find the DNS settings in your control panel and the steps to add a TXT record?

Hi @AnasHyeee

Sure thing, you would add DNS records in the Domains section, under your primary domain, like so:

add-dns-records
add-dns-records4004Ă—2532 466 KB

Click on the Add record button and you can add the DNS record you need for your subdomain.

If you have any troubles getting the DNS record added let us know.

I try to add
Type TXT
Hostname is blog.templays
Value: code from google console

I have message Ownership verification failed

Failure reason:
We couldn’t find your verification token in your domain’s TXT records. Sometimes DNS changes can take a while to appear. Please wait a few hours, then reopen your property in Search Console. If verification fails again, try adding a different DNS TXT record.

is this right Hostname: blog.templays ?

Instead of blog.templays the hostname should just be blog.

I’ve gone ahead and fixed it for you. Let me know if Google still has trouble verifying the subdomain. :slightly_smiling_face:
