I presumably overlooking something, but I can not find how to change the default font color of the Text Component. How can I do this?
Hello Lalla,
- go to the theme settings
- klick on the left side on colors
- duplicate the standard color text
- you see the new color row on top
- edit the FIRST color in the row (e.g. red)
Every time you generate new text, it will take the first color in the new color-row.
That works fine for me.

You can also set up the text component how you like, then drop it into the Templates area. Then when you need the text component again, just drop your customised one into the site from the Templates area.
And as @RELAX-IT pointed out, you can override colours (fonts, etc…) in the Theme Studio ![]()
You might also want to look into Globals, this is another way to get consistency throughout your entire site. The Elements Docs have videos on all these features!
This is great! Thanks a lot! I overlooked the color row for text
.
Thanks for these options also. Very nice. However for now I prefer to use the standard Text Component, because otherwise I maybe forget to use the global or template
.
