How to keep 8.03 when upgrading?

I have severe problems with RapidWeaver 8.1. Two of my projects don’t even start to export with RW 8.1.

Therefore I would like to keep 8.03 when upgrading. Can I download the latest versions of 8.1 somewhere to test them parallel to 8.03?

I will not switch until the problems have been sorted out. I sent my project files to RapidWeaver support already beginning of January but got no reply.
