Hi … I have build a site … ( its not on line yet ) and I was making some small tests of safaRI / Firefox … but when I simply click a link inside my webpage …

it keeps saying thats “requested page could not be found” … funny part is … Ive just put external links to other pages but they dont seem to work …

the referred pages are ok but for one reason or the other … there a load of info that gets put in front of the page address … http://127.0.0.1:60505/

any help on this would be appreciated … since there are a lot of links on my page … most of them react ,like that.

Not sure what is going on but 127.0.0.1 is a ‘loopback’ IP address or ‘localhost’. It avoids any external networks and just routes to your home machine.

funny part is that some of the links work and others don’t … on the same page of the website …

I double checked … and the link is correct inside rapid weaver …

when I cut out the http://127.0.0.1:60505/ the website works as should be …

I can’t figure out why it does that …

Found the problem …

I in some web addresses I didn’t copy paste the address with http:// in it …

thats why they didn’t work …
