Hyperlink pain

Entering hyperlinks is just painful with Elements as it stands. Hypertext is the foundation of the web … the H in HTML, remember?! … yet we still can’t paste hyperlinked text even from one text container to another, much less paste blocks of text containing links from our old websites.

But now there’s another problem that I’ve been facing in recent builds: without a command-k (linK) shortcut one often has to click away from a text box multiple times (to get out of the text properties inspector) then re-highlight the text before the correct inspector pops up for entering a link. I would estimate that building a page is taking me 3 times longer than it should because my site cites a large number of factual references elsewhere on the web.

Yes - I suggested a double click to open the window

Could indeed be a solution Michael, but would select only one word to by hyperlinked.
Command-k (linK) is pretty standard on Mac apps for adding a www link.
