Hi @nitecapt,
I’m on mobile right now so can’t help with text color but looks like prob with directions might be that you have a curly " in the code.
Do this:
Paste the code into text edit window
Delete the code from your page
Paste it back in from text edit but choose past as plain text from the menu
Or convert to plain text in text edit before you paste it back in.
I’ll try to check and see if you can change text color with CSS when I get to my computer.
EDIT: Target input with css to change color color: black (green, blue etc, etc)
here’s a simple guide for noobies as to how your pages should be named. If you have re-published with new names and still not working, you may need to go to File > mark all pages and resources as changed and the Republish all files. If still no good, FTP your site, delete it and publish again.
That is a great guide, EXCEPT about leaving it index.html. If RapidWeaver changes it, leave it the way RapidWeaver changes it, as a stack or plugin COULD make it be an index.php page.
Yes - quite right - I meant to mention .php but completely forgot. Interesting though, I have come across this page / folder structure issue amongst newcomers 3 or 4 times recently. So easy to overlook when you’ve been around a while. here’s a corrected image:
@nitecapt I would also recommend leaving ‘Open in new window’ un-ticked unless you really want the pages to open in a new window. I noticed some of your nav links open in a new window, which may not be desirable.
In fact it IS a verb although I mis-spelled it. I couldn’t think of another word to describe what I did without using profanity/
And indeed I am going to unstick leaving open in new window.
And manofdogz, how many do you have? I have 3 dogs which I proudly call “The insane clown posse”
Beat you by one with my collection of 4 yellow labs! Off topic but here they are patiently awaiting a poached egg on toast breakfast: each one a Rapidweaver developer in their own right.
