I placed a video on my home page and now it's not working

I bulit my site with Rapidweaver a few years ago.

I would like to update the home page but I am having a frustrating problem

Somehow I managed to have the homepage have an autoplaying video (I don’t remember how I did it)

I uploaded a revised version of the site and now it no longer autoplays. It just shows a link that opens the video in a new window.

I don’t know how I got the video to work in the first place, and I can’t edit it at all except to remove it.

I’d like to insert a static image in its place but I can’t figure out how to do that either without messing up every other page.

Any help would be appreciated

I still can’t edit the video except to remove it.
I re-exported the site and now it seems to be auto playing again, at least in Safari

Also, while I was exploring remedies, I found that the HTML files from RW open very cleanly in Dreamweaver.

What are you trying to edit with it?

I would imagine so, exported files are just HTML or PHP files. I guess DreamWeaver would be able to open those. You wouldn’t be able to export anything you did from DreamWeaver back into RapidWeaver though. Best to try and sort it in RapidWeaver. :slightly_smiling_face:
