I started with Rapidweaver 3.6 in January 2008, and have kept upgrading until 2 years ago. I learned enough the first year to build 5 websites after one consultation. I’m now in my 70’s, retired, and plan to keep 3 of my sites active as part of my legacy. I last used RW Classic about 2 years ago. All I want to do is alter one of the 3 active ones occasionally.
For 2 years I’ve had to deal with a blood cancer which is challenging, and I do not have energy to learn elements if it is going to be a complex thing. I got a message when trying to use RW Classic 9.34 “Updates expired on Saturday, March 30, 2024. The latest version permitted is 9.2.1 (21062)” What is this about??? I feel cheated because on Realmac Software Store.. it clearly states that my account is active, and that I’m being charged $33.10 every year! AnI have been charged that amount annually. But when I click on the renewal button of RW Classic the next screen sated that RW Classic is $89.10, and I don’t even know if I will be allowed to use RW Classic.
All I want to do is update one of my active websites over the next couple of years. What is involved with continuing to use RW?
