Image Slider - image corners not rounded while sliding

Hi, just added an image slider to one of my pages. Dragged a resource folder to the image resources and set aspect ration to landscape since the images have different sizes. Works nice in preview - all images have the same size an slide nicely. However, whenever the images chance, the rounding of the image corners (default setting) disappear. Just while the next image slides in, goes back to rounded corners once the image slid in. Am I missing a setting?
Thanks, Matthias

Hey @majobo,

Hmm, I’m having a bit of trouble reproducing the issue on my end. Would you be able to share a quick screen recording showing the bug in action? That would really help us understand what’s going on.

Even better, if you can upload your project file via Elements Cloud and share the link, we’ll be able to take a closer look and hopefully get to the bottom of it quickly.

Thanks so much!

@dan, thanks for the quick reply.

Just got started, so please excuse the mess.
Best, Matthias

Ah yes, I see what you mean. However, this is just the way it works. The images remain curved, they are sliding out of view under a straight edge. Here’s a quick video explaining more…

thanks for the quick look, I guess that does explain it.

Another slider question - is there a way to overlay a text onto the sliding images? So that both images and text overlay slide along..

Not with the Image Slider. We want to keep the Image Slider component focussed on doing one thing really well.

We plan on adding a Carousel component that will allow you to design each item however you like — so you could place any component in the Carousel and layer text on top of an image.

I can’t say when that’ll be available, but it is definitely on the roadmap
