I created a test website with Ai that generated a test.html file and associated folders for images, etc. is there a way to import that site from my desktop into Elements so that I can make final tweaks?

You need to st up a custom component and choose HTML then add HTML to it. Dont forget to change the header as you may over write it if you dont. I dont know whether this will work on your code but give it a try.
