Please can you also let us know who you’re hosting with and if the form component works or not. Post a reply below, for example:

Yes, I’m hosting with Chillidog.

Please keep the feedback coming, this will be VERY useful to help us get the Form Component working with ALL hosts AND for building a compatibility list!

All of my sites are working just fine using Chillidog and Cloudflare.

I’m on Aaces.com, and it is working okay so far. I’ve been with them for 27 years with no issues.

I use LittleOak; (Have been since originally RW recommended them)

Forms on two sites work as expected. (Another site for some perplexing reason doesn’t publish to email.) I note your AI robot suggests naming the for,m file“ contact.php”. Unless it’s in the RW background, I don’t see that file anywhere. Anyway, the form on two sites seems to work fine without the “contact.php” file.

No. I am hosting with myhost.

https://myhost.nz/

I had some backwards and forwards on here and with my host and after ten hundred billion combinations of various credentials (or perhaps 30 ) I gave up with the contact page. It did work with RW.

To be honest I prefer to click on an email address and use my own email client and know the email has been sent, and retain a copy, than fill in a page on a website so I probably won’t spend any more time trying to resolve it.

[For the same reason I have not even tried to set up publishing in Elements. I never got that to work in RW and now just prefer to use FileZilla]

Works almost out of the box with Simply.com, but needed a web-specific smtp-server. Good help in the log file, thanks.

I wonder if Dan could comment on AI robot’s contending that the file name on the page the form is located be named XXXX.php.

No it is not working. I’m hosting with IONOS, the 2nd largest provider in the world.

im guessing this aint easy to make sure EVERY host works…like writing drivers for windows users…

We have an update to the form going out next week that should fix the issue on most of the servers that don’t work in this thread (including IONOS):crossed_fingers:
