Index.html and index.css files fail to upload

New to Elements. Having a problem uploading my Elements websites to my server. Works fine with Rapidweaver Classic but not with Elements.

Elements exports index.html locally, but fails to upload it to my Home site. Manual upload of index.html and index.css fixes the site immediately. SFTP and reducing connections to one did not solve the problem. All the other files upload fine–it’s just index.html and index.css that won’t go.

I would sure appreciate it if someone had any information on why this might be occurring. thanks

My suggestion would be to delete everything from the server and then try again by republishing all files.

This will often fix issues like this.

Assuming you have not already tried this approach.

Excellent suggestion. I did try that. The problem unfortunately persists.
