Is anyone having problems with Menus not showing?

For starters I am using an 2019 16" Intel MacBook Pro with the latest Mac OS.
When I start Elements and double click on the file I want, the program opens the file, but none of the menus of Elements appear when clicked on. I have to click on the Desktop then go back to Elements to get the Menus to work.
Here is a movie of this.

However, I have also noted that this does NOT happen on my M4 MacMini.
Cheers.

I think we’ve been here before…April 21st to be precise!!! and Dans reply was

Yes we have but at the time I did not have an M4 MacMini. Now that I do I can compare them and it is obviously an Intel chip Mac problem. Worth knowing about and recognising the issue in the manual when finalised, unless Intel Macs are excluded.
Cheers.

only 2019 Intel Macs I fear as other Intel Mac users are fine!!

When I run my file from the Elements splash screen, the Menus do NOT show up until I have clicked on the desktop and then go back to Elements.
It is interesting that if I start Elements from my actual file on the desktop and not from the splash screen, then the Menus show up immediately.
So I’m asking if there is some way of being able to turn off the splash screen.

this might be way out there…but just start from the desktop file!!! and not the splash screen that you want to turn off anyway!!!

David, I know that it can be done that way and I do it that way, but I am raising this as a potential problem for new comers who would be contacting Elements forum unnecessarily, thus overloading the Support team.
