Thanks @jbob I had a PayPal Business account in the past when I sold one product. I have many reasons why I don’t want to use that now for my current site.
Yes, interesting. The very first store site I had - I quickly gave up on Paypal. Since then I have had all manner of complex cart sites - wasting weeks in set-ups. Every one of them were a pain in one way or another. I was of the same opinion as you that Paypal was putting people off. I’m now back to try PayPal again - it’s simple and I’m not at all convinced Paypal was the thing that was holding me back. It’s just taking a card payment device after all - and these days a pretty slick one with a simple cart. Love to hear other’s thoughts !!
