Is the ‘base’ font too small for users?

Been considering a larger font… but I’m over 60 and eyes aren’t what they used to be….

I did a quote in body 3x - and it seemed comically large against the base font - had to make it smaller…

What font sizes are you guys using?

Thanx…

What header size also?….

16px or 1 Rem is the industry standard, and I beleive that’s what Eelements uses for it’s base font. But there is no law saying you have to use that as the base font, especially if you have a site that doesn’t have alot of text on it.

I use the base font for my paragraphs but I also incorporate lead paragraphs which is usually 18px in places where I want the text to stand out.

I’ve been grappling with that, too, but waiting to see what happens with Typography (and Markdown) first. I’d like the final component of what I’m using done before I start fiddling with the Theme Studio on it.

The nice thing is you can change font size in the Theme Studio at any time. It’s easy to experiment, and it’s easy to change it back to the defaults

@MichaelDroste There is no right or wrong way. Design the site so you think it looks good, that’s the main thing to focus on.
