Is there a third party modal option that works well?

I’ve had a major problem trying to get the modal stack that comes with Foundry 3. So far there has been 30 replies with people looking at it and no fix. Even if there is a fix for this at this point it is taking too long (and for an operation that is really very simple.)

I know from past stack purchases that there are other stacks that do similar operations as the ones in Foundry. If there is anything like that it is sounding like that is what I’ll need to go with at this point.

Hey @KipV,

Spent some time looking at this this evening.

From your post over on Adam’s forum, you specifically linked to a PDF file but called it an image.

When extracting the .zip file it didn’t extract an image, it extracted a PDF.

I published your “Cascade ISO Modal Button August Version” project file that you provided over on Adam’s forum, and I saw the same result you did with that modal, image was loading in RW but not in browser.

So I just converted that PDF file into a PNG file.

Then I unpacked your “Footer for Cascade” partial and replaced the image with that new PNG image file:

Re-published all files, and the image loads fine in the modal now:

My guess, you dragged and dropped the PDF into the image drop zone, it tried to convert it, but failed to do it properly. I don’t know much about Foundry 3’s image requirements, you’d have to ask Adam if PDF files are allowed in the image drop zone. Looks like doesn’t accept PDF per his documentation here.

For now, try downloading the PNG image file I posted above, clearing your old image from the project file, replacing it with that PNG image, and re-publish all your files.

Worked for me, hope it works for you. :crossed_fingers:

Hi Dan, thanks for looking at this as well!

Yes the file is a PDF image. If this needs to be a PNG so to display it then that is fine. I’m glad to know that is now working!
