@dan lately I have been having issues with he html editor, not when with just tailwind, but when other code is added, I have to save shutdown and restart to get back in edit area continuously, might be my machine perhaps

I’m on Sequoia, and the editor (and your file) appear to be working just fine here…
If we can find out how to reliably recreate the issue here, we can get it fixed for you. Are you both on Tahoe maybe?

Tahoe as well. But to be honest I have not run into this problem since upgrading to 1.4.0. But then I have not been doing as much editing in the code editor in Elements, I now do most of mine in Nova.
I always use the html editor, issue since same version,
it does happen with just Tailwind as well, every change, need to save and restart, extremely annoying
have to stop using Elements until fixed, most of my time I spend in the html editor 
Same paste code into html editor freezes the html editor. 
EDIT: No it’s not, its when you reselect the html component (see video below).
I’m Tahoe too.

that fixes it doesnt seem to freeze out after that
