Issues with Elements installed on MacBook Pro and Mac mini

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with Elements on my MacBook Pro M1 Pro and my Mac mini M4. I use the same user ID to log in on both systems and for Elements itself.

I first installed Elements on my Mac mini M4, and it has worked fine from the start. When I close a project there, it appears in the recent files list. A few weeks later, I installed Elements on my MacBook Pro M1 Pro. However, when I worked on an existing project there, it did not show up in the recent files list.

I also use cloud storage for my Elements projects.

Is there a way to make the recent files list on my MacBook Pro show the projects I’ve been working on?

The recents list is controlled by your Mac’s system settings, in the menu bar settings window.

The recents menu in Elements will only show what you worked on, on the specific Mac you are working on. Doesn’t combine two or more Macs.
