So I’m trying to save time - Instead of editing 100 pages header, text, content etc create a custom theme that switches between light and dark… I have pro license - created mike’s starter theme

When I switch to dark mode the theme is set to go to light text…
(that’s not happening)

Unless Text Component - gets a style option - I’m out of luck…
Everything on ALL my sites is text and not typography
Tried doing just the homepage at TrumpetStudio.com - took 15 -20 minutes for the first block to be converted from text to typography with links…
Now I know for the future - Make Everything Typography for Theme Studio Style Editing

Allow Styling of Text Component - please 
I’ve been saying this since the beginning of Elements: the whole approach to text isn’t thought through enough.
We now have three “text” types: Text, Typography, and Markdown. Technically, CMS becomes a fourth. Each behaves differently (note my request for direct-managed-links in Markdown elsewhere in the forum). The problem becomes that you can’t intermix them to control a complex site’s textual appearances/links/etc.
As people move from simple landing page type sites with a couple of supporting pages to something more fundamental and complex, this text problem is going to come up more and more.
So, I’m all for Realmac doing what you ask (add Text to the Theme settings), but it doesn’t fully resolve all the textual issues some of us are having.
I’ve copied my text field and tried copying into a typography field
Get an unformatted no space at end of lines - huge mass of simple unformatted text… (unusable) tried copying into word processors and still would import a mass of text
The system theme template - for me - had too much space and was unusable in typography
So I learned to do everything in text…
I do learn quickly - and will switch over to Typography for better future editing needs…
I just won’t be able to take the ‘large’ sites into dark mode - as I can’t edit a style sheet for the text component
Being able to create custom themes in theme studio is very nice - I just wished I understood them in the beginning - and not now - a year plus? Into my elements learning…
