Trumpet Studio - Learn to Play version 4.0
Most of the work was getting original artwork in transparent png full size format and getting the 52 PDFs all described lower case hyphenated etc…
Claude has been great.. taking me step by step through the process - Claude on one window and Xcode in another…
Now have a working prototype of 7 pdf sections 7 markdown article and a bio
Work 2-3 hours a day - don’t burn out and can see the forward progress…

Nice to hear you’re making progress
I like that Claude is trying to teach me…
Learning a lot…
Things have changed from 15? Years ago when I first tried it on my own…
About 3 big things left:
make the mobile menu
make the animated fingering chart with sound
add the rss feed for streaming podcast episodes instead of app hosting
Here’s the latest build
She’s almost done!!
Just trying to figure out why RSS feed isn’t displaying articles - but ran out of processing from Claude - have to wait til 12pm
I wanted to share - please consider hiring a designer for your work…
Here is my 2008 icon:
Here was my new 4.0 version:
Didn’t like it - couldn’t explain why - just not what I wanted… so I hired a designer…
Designer version and new icon for 4.0
Much better!! Very happy so - think about hiring a designer every now and then…
Well in a waiting queue for review - filled out the France Compliance Form - but finally just deleted France from this release right now - and was able to submit the apps..
Happy to have all I’s dotted and all t’s crossed now hope it passes and finally gets released
Well pressed submit - but it went into drafts - and not review - hahahaha
The Mac OS version is going through review
The iOS version is live now:
Very Happy
This is what I’ve always wanted the app to be…
Well last post
Did 4.1 and added metronome, recording, blues play along, practice timer, etc…
Didn’t know about code review… thought the code made by Claude was perfect - no issues… but after an exhaustive review- found 16 issues that could be fixed….
Pretty set now…
Thanx for letting me share
