Just moved to Tahoe OS 26

First program I opened was elements  now going to try topaz labs and music :musical_note:

Awesome - all my needed software - works great including logic and all my instruments and plugins - very happy

Glad to hear it :tada:

So I can safely move to Os Tahoe?

I have seems, ok at the moment

Elements works without any problems on OS Tahoe. I also didn’t encounter any issues while using Elements during the OS Tahoe public beta.

Only RW Classic doesn’t run as reliably on OS Tahoe — I’m experiencing noticeably more crashes than with the previous OS version.

Thanks

The latest version of Elements and Classic run just great on macOS Tahoe.

However, we’re seeing an uptick in Stacks crashes on Tahoe, we’ve had 13 Stacks crash reports today already and it’s only lunchtime!

Here’s a snapshot from our internal crash report system, [YH…] is YourHead and the Stacks plugin.

I pretty much suspected that it’s more of a “Stacks” problem. I just hope that YourHead finds the time — and above all the motivation — among all their ToDos to deliver suitable updates for it…

Another reason to move to Elements. I still use RWC and Stacks for some projects. Don’t dare to upgrade to Tahoe now.

I moved away form classic and stacks and foundry for the very reason to get all in one place and not have to fork out for all the bits and bobs …got fed up with paying for upgrades and all the different stacks fro Joe workman ect

the whole point of Elemnts for me was 1 program 1 cost

Tahoe turns ON FileVault by default. If you had this turned off before the upgrade and are now having issues with RW/Stacks then try turning FileVault OFF.
