I’ll be watching the tutorials soon…

Just trial and error first time usage:

Initial Impressions:

• Some familiarity with RWC good - Needs more

• Needs a preview in App HUGE for me - constantly creating then viewing

• Couldn’t get Logo to show

• Couldn’t remove reveal animation (needs a toggle in top to turn off/off)

• Terminology unfamiliar with in inspector - I need to learn

• Wouldn’t format paragraphs from copying and pasting from RWC
(see screenshots)

• The text options are WONDERFUL able to do so much - much appreciated

I don’t know if its me or frustration that I can’t get it to do what I want… I see what the app is going for…

Also needs a size of inspector menu text and size of components option to make them bigger… small on my 4K 27" screen

I was expecting RWC with options - but too many blocked pathways and no preview in app are dragging me down

I need to educate myself also… I understand - New App New Workflow New Menus New Features etc…

It’s fantastic to see you diving in and sharing your first-impressions, I’ll try and address some of your points to help smooth out your experience!

1. In-App Preview:
As Elements is WYSIWYG, you really don’t need a preview in app. The editor really does look the same as the preview! Once you get used to this way of working, you’ll find flipping back and forth between Edit and Preview in Classic very annoying!

2. Couldn’t get Logo to show
Let us know a few more details on this and we’ll be able to get you up and running. Where you just trying to use the standard menu? I can record a quick video showing the different ways in which you can add a logo if that helps?

3. Terminology in Inspector:
I understand it can be a bit overwhelming when transitioning to new software. RapidWeaver Elements is designed to offer more flexibility and modern features compared to RapidWeaver Classic, which does come with a learning curve. I’d recommend the following to ease the transition…
