Learning Elements ... for good friends

Hi, I bought Elements last week and now I’m learning how to use it.. (was a foundry boy.) I have watched all the YouTube videos about the components.

I started by copying my old content into the fitness template. Sure, you can do that — it works well and looks just like before… But I actually want to try something new for my little site: a collage design.

Today I recreated a collage website (not my own), only to learn Elements, I’m going to design my website in a similar way, therefore, it should not have a standard menu.

Now there are some questions:

  1. Can a container’s top margin be negative? -50px

  2. I can’t get the buttons to align to the left inside a Flex (one after the other); they’re always centered.

  3. There’s a component called “Top Pages.” Is it possible to make it look like a word cloud?

  4. Only the hamburger SVG file should be sticky; not the logo. Should I create the menu using a modal? How?

Have a nice day, Matthias

To get the button to a line to the left set the Spacing Margin of the Button.

Thanks, that works for two buttons.
How do I arrange multiple buttons side by side so they wrap on small screens?
In Flex, they don’t wrap. In the grid, they’re all the same width.

In flex, play with these two settings to get it just how you like. You’ll probably want Direction to be “Row” and Wrap Items either “Wrap” or “Wrap Reverse.”
