Linked Components missing from the 'Globals' Library Panel

I have a specific issue regarding Global Components in Elements. In my Layers panel, I have a Container marked with the Blue Globe icon, which signifies that it is a Linked/Global component.

However, when I open the Globals library panel to reuse this component on a new PHP or HTML page, it says ‘No items found. Try adjusting your filter.’

My questions:

  1. Why does a component marked as Global in the Layers panel not automatically appear in the Globals library?

  2. Is there a manual step required to ‘register’ a Linked component into the site-wide Globals list so it can be dragged onto other pages?

  3. I have checked for active filters but the list remains empty. How can I force my global header to appear in this menu?

Update/Additional Observation: I have since discovered that restarting the application causes the items to finally appear in the list. However, this has now resulted in duplicate items appearing (I did try to unlink and convert a number of times) in the Globals panel. Is there a way to prevent this and safely remove the duplicates?

After restart:

Observations:

  1. Initial Invisibility: Components marked as ‘Global’ do not appear in the Globals library (‘No items found’) until the application is restarted.

  2. Duplicate Generation: After a restart, the items finally populate the library, but often as duplicate entries.

  3. The Deletion Bug: When I attempt to delete a single duplicate global component from the list, all components in the Globals list are deleted simultaneously.

  4. Ghost Re-appearance: Despite saving the project after the ‘bulk deletion,’ another app restart causes all global components to re-appear in the library (including the duplicates).

Short version -

Filters in components window don’t work. Known issue, and I don’t think they’ve gotten around to that yet.

Rename your globals when you create them so you don’t have duplicates and can tell which global is which.
