Links set in text do not show up as having a change of colour

If I select text in a Typography Component via the Text Styles settings and then apply a link to this text, the text itself does not change colour to indicate it is a link.
Cheers

Do you have link styles set up in your typography settings?

If you are using the default “article” typography settings, there are no link style set in there.

I’m having no problems with the links in my typography components, but I do have settings that have color settings for links.

all has to be set in theme studio

Thanks Robin. Now accomplished. But what is the difference in Elements between Body, Paragraph and Article??

I’ll let @dan or @ben answer that one.

I’ll take a stab at it.

But in typography “article” is just a set of basic default settings for the typography component. Not necessarily related to the <article> tag.

From my point of view body is a font setting, and a paragraph <p> is an HTML tag for a block of text.

So in a typography component when the Font Family for a paragraph is set to body it is used as the font for <p> text in the component. The beauty of this is if you want consistency you can override body and then it will use your selected font. Then when you switch to a different theme all of your body text will change to the body font for the new theme. Or down the road if you want to change your font, just select a new one for the overridden body and it will change everywhere.

I should probably stop typing as I have probably botched this, hopefully the team will set me straight.

I believe body is a Tailwind term, but I’m not sure about that.
