I can understand why that wording sounds concerning!
The warning refers to the extension you’re installing. Desktop extensions run software locally on your Mac, so you should only install them from a source you trust. “Not verified by Anthropic” means Anthropic hasn’t verified the developer information shown. Anthropic explains desktop extensions here.
Our Elements extension connects Claude to Elements so it can work with your website projects. Installing it doesn’t automatically hand Claude your passwords or banking information.
Make sure you install the extension directly through Elements. You can stop the connection at any time by turning off Allow AI tools to interact with Elements under Settings → AI → MCP Server.
